I Am Living In A Snow Globe

Yep, that's right folks. We went from 77 degrees and sunny last Thursday, to 30 degrees and snowing today. I guess that counts as all 4 seasons in one week. Great! (heavy, heavy sarcasm on that)

It didn't look too bad this morning when I went out to my car. I had to brush off about 3 inches of snow, but the roads were mostly clear (thanks to the plows- yeah, seriously). I should have grabbed the broom out of the garage, but I just used the snow scraper/brush from my car and it took longer than I thought. And I had to scrape a ton of ice off my side windows (luckily not the back or front, though).

I made it to work with no issues, other than a lot of water being sprayed up off the road by the cars in front of me (my car is probably filthy now- well, not like it was clean, but you get my drift... ha ha, drift- get it? snow drift? oh nevermind). However, shortly after arriving, it began snowing more and more. At one point I looked out the window and it was a total blizzard. It has been varying levels of snow all morning. This snow globe that I'm living in must belong to some crazy, hyped up little kid who is constantly shaking the thing, because every time I look outside, there is snow coming down. Ugh!

I tried to take a picture, but the snow didn't show up very well on the camera. Sorry.

exactly. You won't be alone for long. Here in NE Ohio, it's AC by day, heat by night! I actually said it was too warm for me to run today because my lungs were just getting used to the cooler air, and it felt like my ipod was stuck by sweat to my arm. I was completely drenched since I had on capris.

We'll compare pictures when we get hit again. But hopefully, it won't be until all of my leaves fall this year!

It's 70 and cloudy here in Nebraska...they're forecasting rain tonight and we could have snow by tomorrow evening. Crazy weather, that's for sure.

Drive safe and look out for those drifts!

Ashley- You are so lucky! I took a picture of my neighborhood this morning, and maybe I'll take one here at work before I leave. It's been snowing almost the entire day!!

Nicole- It's nice to know I'm not alone (or at least I won't be for long). = )

Nan- Sweaty and wearing capris. Oh how nice that must be.

Marcie- Crazy is right. And I'll be careful for sure- those *drifts* can be nasty. ; )

It was 80 a couple days ago, and it's supposed to be 40 tomorrow. I second you: Great!

Dang...that's quite the weather change! I'm ok with no picture - I DON'T need to see snow yet!! Our nice weather is ending too - but there is only cooler temps in the forecast. Hmmm....a sign of things to come...winter just around the corner. I say make a few snowballs...
